Our Parish Youth Ministry Team would like to provide a summer retreat opportunity for our students! This includes all students that will be Freshmen (9th grade) in Fall of 2025 through those students who will be Freshmen in college in Fall of 2025 . We have two options: Notre Dame Vision and Franciscan University of Steubenville Youth Conferences. Adults with completed clearances could also be a part of this opportunity and would be needed as chaperones.

We would like to gauge interest in this new endeavor as soon as possible so that we would have time for fundraising and scheduling. We do not want anyone to be unable to join us due to financial reasons. Actual costs will be determined as soon as possible, once we have a decision on where and when. At that time, we will bring a definite plan to you, so families can decide whether or not
they can commit for this year. Of course, families can also use this info to make their own plans and register as a group. We do hope to sponsor our youth group to attend together for one of these amazing Catholic conferences!

Here is some basic information to look over and discuss at home. We ask for your prayerful consideration of this idea. It is our desire to give our youth an experience of their faith that is deep, wide and inspiring. We want them to have the benefit of seeing how diverse, alive and

Notre Dame will hold its Vision Conferences 2025 on the weeks of June 23 - 27 and July 7 - 11 at its main campus in South Bend, Indiana. It is about a 6 hour drive, but is well worth the travel to visit. We would hope to secure transportation for the group if that is where we choose to
go as a group this year. If not this year, hopefully next year! Father Tom has experienced this conference and really hopes to give our kids that opportunity! Here is a link to their site:

Franciscan University of Steubenville has conference dates on their main campus in Ohio on the following weekends of 2025: June 27 - 29, July 11 - 13, July 18 - 20, July 25 - 27. The theme for 2025 is: "Consumed". Here is a link to their site: https://steubenvilleconferences.com/youth-conferences/
