An Appreciation Dinner was held on Friday, May 9 at the R Place Restaurant thanking all the volunteers who helped make our two Fish Fry’s at Queen of the Rosary and St. Michael throughout the Lenten Sesson a success. 104 people attended along with Fr. Tom, Fr. Miro, and Deacon John.

Saints Joachim and Anne Holy Name Society hosted a Mothers Day Breakfast on Sunday May 3 at the Queen of Rosary Social Hall. Besides a delicious breakfast, there were Gift Baskets and a 50/50 raffle.

Seminarian Luke Lisowski and his mom enjoyed the CCM breakfast on Sunday, May 4.

The former Baptism gates in St. Joseph Church- Port Vue were recently renovated by Blacksmith Robert Burns of Wilkinsburg who put a J for Joachim and A for Anne and cleaned up the crosses on top of the gates. They were reinstalled by Fr. Tom, Seminarian Luke, and Brian Phillips on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at St. Eugene.

Bishop David Zubik celebrated his 50th Anniversary of Priesthood Ordination and Bishop William Winter celebrated 70 years at a Mass on Sunday, May 4 at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland. Congratulations and Best Wishes!
