Fr. Tom visited Mary of Nazareth Catholic School in White Oak to participate in the “Battle of the Books.”
Fr. Tom read The Mitten and The Big Cheese to the students. The school voted for their favorite book and The Big Cheese won.

Fr. Tom and Seminarian Luke recently visited the residents of the Retirement Residence of Glassport. Fr. Tom gave the Sacrament of Anointing and Seminarian Luke gave them Holy Communion.

Two roofing contractors recently visited the Queen of the Rosary Campus to inspect the various roof leaks in the church and rectory. Fr. Tom even climbed the ladder to get a good look. Dave Schmidt from The Diocesan Office of Property and Planning is assisting with the project. Fr. Tom, Tony Hutskow, Kevin Hopkins and Darla Losteter also were present for the roofing bids.
Pre-Baptism Class is for expectant parents and Godparents, or anyone who is seeking a Catholic Baptism for their child. Our next Pre-Baptism Class is: Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 7:00 pm in St. Michael Meeting Room. Please register at joachimandannediopitt.org/baptism Prior to scheduling a Baptism, first time parents need to attend the Pre-Baptism Class.
Fr. Tom celebrated First Reconciliation for the Second Graders at Providence Heights Alpha School in McCandless on Wednesday, March 12. They will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday May 3.
