Two roofing contractors recently visited the Queen of the Rosary Campus to inspect the various roof leaks in the church and rectory. Fr. Tom even climbed the ladder to get a good look. Dave Schmidt from The Diocesan Office of Property and Planning is assisting with the project. Fr. Tom, Tony Hutskow, Kevin Hopkins and Darla Losteter also were present for the roofing bids.Read More -

Fr. Tom celebrated First Reconciliation for the Second Graders at Providence Heights Alpha School in McCandless on Wednesday, March 12. They will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday May 3.Read More -
Members of the OCIA group preparing for entrance into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil participated in the Rite of Election at St. Paul Cathedral on Sunday March 9. Fr. Tom gave them a tour of the Cathedral and television studio.Read More -

Deacon John Ragan, Duane Molinaro and Fr. Tom enjoying the festivities at the Pre-Super Bowl Party at the Queen of the Rosary Social Hall in Glassport sponsored by the Saints Joachim and Anne Holy Name Society. There were a variety of delicious tailgate foods including: pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken, macaroni and cheese and salads. There was a large screen TV for the Pro Bowl Game, gift baskets, and a 50/50 raffle. Music was provided by Rickieoke.Read More -
We would like to thank Father Tom, the Pastoral Council, Finance Council, Julie Fleckenstein, and you our parish family for the two brand new organs for St. Eugene’s and St. Michael’s worship sites. We really appreciate your support of our music ministry and are very excited to use the organs to enhance our liturgies. Please bear with us as we get all the kinks ironed out and learn all the wonderful things that these new organs offer, In June the organ at Queen of the Rosary will have the leather replaced in the pipes. This organ was put into the church when the church was built in 1953, and this is part of the upkeep for a pipe organ. We look forward to hearing the pipes when they come back. This process will take approximately a month to complete. We look forward to using these three wonderful instruments to enhance our liturgies and thank you again for helping to make this all come true. Please stop and see the organs when you are in church. Seminarian Intern Luke L. Lisowski visited Mary of Nazareth School in White Oak on Friday, January 31, 2025 to conclude Catholic Schools Week. Luke along with Fr. Tom Burke, visited the students in the classrooms and at lunch then celebrated a Friday afternoon Mass which the Eighth Graders planned and led in the readings, bringing up the offertory gifts and ushering at Holy Communion.Read More -

The Reporting Process
- Everyone is a permissive reporter and is encouraged to make a report of suspected child abuse. Reporters of suspected child abuse fall into two categories.
- Mandated reporters are those adults who come into direct contact with children in the course of their employment or volunteer of a regularly scheduled program or activity, who accepts responsibility for a child.
- The trigger to report is a reasonable suspicion that a child is being abused. Permissive reporters may report anonymously; mandated reporters may not.
Making a Report of Child Abuse
- Reports of suspected child abuse are to be made immediately.
- If the child is in imminent danger, call 911
- Reports may be made orally by phone or electronically
- Oral reports are made to ChildLine at 1-800-932-0313 which is available 24/7
- Electronic reports are made via CWIS Self-Service portal at www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis
- Inform the supervisor or person in charge of your program that a report was made
